Centered between and just a few minutes walking distance from the Jardín, Benito Juarez Park, and the Rosewood Hotel, Casa Dos Cisnes is located in the heart of the historic center of San Miguel de Allende, making it the perfect place from which to explore this fascinating colonial town by foot. Shops, restaurants, and local sites are all within easy (no steep hills !) walking distance. Although minutes from the center of town, the home is just far enough from the jardin to avoid the din of crowds, celebrations, and traffic.

Having been awarded "Best Destination in the World" by Travel + Leisure and encompassing a UNESCO World Heritage site in its historic center, San Miguel de Allende is a picturesque colonial city in the state of Guanajuato, nestled on a hillside in the central highlands of Mexico. San Miguel is known for its cobblestone streets, colorful historic buildings and architecture, vibrant art scene, and world class cuisine. Visitors can wander the quaint streets mostly by foot, and are invited to explore the beautiful churches, gardens, galleries, boutiques, bustling markets, and incredible restaurants. Although having long attracted visitors internationally, the town still maintains its Mexican heritage, culture, and charm.

"Awesome location in San Miguel- close to the Rosewood, Parque Juárez, and a quick 5-minute walk to the Jardín principal. Host and house manager are very attentive. Had some minor issues with the coffee pot not working and they bought a new one immediately. Loved having the canary in the house, and Josefina is very nice to make breakfast for you. Beds are really comfortable."

"This home is wonderful. The green spaces are vibrant and comfortable and the decor is thoughtful and functional. The main upstairs bedrooms rival any 4-star hotel. Josefina is a treasure. She is personable, professional and helpful in every way. Her meals were delicious. We felt taken care of and appreciated for her going the extra step to ensure our comfort. The location is perfect. The home is steps away from the park, the shops, and the main square. We highly recommend this beautiful space."

"We had an amazing time at Casas Dos Cisnes. The house was clean, beautiful, and everything needed for a great vacation was available to us. Check in and check out was easy, Belen welcomed us, she was extremely polite and helpful. During our stay Josefina was there in the morning to cook breakfast. She was great. So incredibly sweet and helpful. She is a true asset to Casas Dos Cisnes. Communication with our host Nicole was always transparent, she was also very helpful and always quick to respond. The location of the property was ideal. Definitely 5/5 experience.!"

"We have stayed in several airbnbs in San Miguel and Cathryn’s home has by far been our favorite! The home is designed with authentic Mexican interior and Lanny the bird is sooo darling! We fell in love with him! Very friendly bird and quiet at night too. Josephina, the housekeeper, did our laundry and cleaned our rooms everyday! She also made us a delicious breakfast every morning! We were thoroughly impressed with our stay and will definitely be coming back!"

"A fantastic escape in SMA! What a lovely home! Peaceful and private with great outdoor living space. Only a couple blocks from the main square. Restaurants and shops within short walking distance.
Super friendly staff. Great breakfast by the housekeeper and the gardens are meticulously maintained by the gardener. The parakeet is a fun addition to the home — and we always enjoyed the morning serenades!
The place is clean, well maintained, and full of all the comforts of home. The house book has great recommendations for meals and activities."

"We enjoyed the Christmas holiday week at Cathryn's gorgeous place. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and well-appointed with everything you could need. The patio was perfect for meals or just hanging out. Josefina, the housekeeper, was totally accommodating and made the most delicious breakfasts for us each day. The house is two blocks from el centro and the cathedral/restaurants/shops. It’s a perfect location and an amazing spot from which to explore SMA. Highly recommend!"

"What an incredible experience my family and I had at Dos Cisnes! I have been coming to San Miguel every year and this is the best stay so far. The pictures really don’t do justice to the property; here are some of the things that amazed us from this house:
1. The location: it is located very close to the center and to the trendiest bars and restaurants in SMA, yet just a bit down the street in order to avoid the busyness and noise.
2. Privacy: perfect for friends and family, the rooms and shared areas are big enough to have your own space.
3. Interior Design: the Mexican colonial details are incredible and every corner is Instagram worthy.
4. The service: Margarita, the cleaning lady and cook is an incredible person that will treat you incredibly during your stay as well as cook the most incredible breakfasts!
Overall it’s a must ! I highly recommend it and you won’t regret it."

"We so enjoyed our stay at Casa Dos Cisnes. Coordinating with Nicole made for a smooth transition from the airport to San Miguel de Allende. Upon our arrival we were greeted by management and a lovely housekeeper. Our sweet housekeeper made chicken enchiladas with green salsa for lunch. After our airport delays we were appreciative and ready for this special lunch. It was delicious! Location was as expected! Perfectly located. We hope to return sometime in the near future! "From beginning to end, our 6-week stay was great. The house is well-located and charming, with flowers climbing the outside walls, and the main parks of San Miguel only a short stroll away. "This property is gorgeous. The rooftop is lovely, with wonderful views. The 3 bedrooms and living areas are professionally decorated, and all the bedrooms, living room and patio area have fireplaces. We will rent here again if available, this is a luxurious villa. We travel a lot and this villa ranks at the very top of all the places we have stayed. The cook/maid - Margarita was just wonderful, excellent delicious breakfasts. "My husband and I enjoyed this home so much... we came to SMA to celebrate our 20th Anniversary and it was the perfect home and town to do that. The house is beautifully decorated and comes with all the essentials you will need which just allowed us to relax and enjoy. Exactly what we needed! The 3 bedrooms are well sized and makes for a great layout... 1 downstairs and 2 upstairs. The back porch and yard are so wonderful... we ate breakfast and lunch there, sat and read, listened to music. And the rooftop is great too! You are just a few blocks from the town center with incredible restaurants and shopping. One block away from the Jardin... great to walk around, pick up basketball or people watch. The staff was so helpful and kind. We will be back soon! "

"What a spectacular home! This is a lovely traditional Mexican colonial casa. It is spacious and yet intimate at the same time. This home has all the quaint and charming architectural details of any home we have stayed in during our 25 year sojourn to SMA. The details are impeccable and the quality of the furnishings are equal to any rental property we have seen in our stays in SMA. The staff could not have been kinder or more thoughtful in making sure we had everything we could possibly want and even anticipating needs prior to our asking. "Casa Dos Cisnes was not only a stunning home but it is also incredibly comfortable. The back covered patio was the perfect spot to hang out in the afternoon when it was too hot to be out running around. Everything, including the towels, bedding, and kitchenware, were extremely high quality and the house was amply stocked. Magda, the cook and housekeeper, couldn't have been friendlier and she makes killer guacamole and pico de gallo! Quite simply, we couldn't have had a nicer time there."

"We recently stayed at the Casa Dos Cisnes in San Miguel de Allende for several days. The house was lovely and very well maintained. The bedrooms were spacious and each had an en-suite bath. The decor was charming, very Mexican, and not too formal, which made it feel very comfortable. Outdoor space was beautiful — a patio with a garden on the first floor and a roof deck with deck chairs, planters, etc. The housekeeper was a lovely woman who cooked us breakfast every day. The location is great. Approximately a 10 minute walk from the Jardin, and a few minutes from Juarez Park. Arranging the rental was a very smooth process. Nicole was very responsive and answered many questions that we had, and sent recommendations for restaurants and galleries, and even arranged our airport pick-up. I would highly recommend this property"
